๐ŸŒนEvery country and city has reached a state of purity due to the purity of fasting.๐ŸŒท

Ramadan is approaching its final days. Every country and city has reached a state of purity due to the purity of fasting. Every house is adorned with the recitation of the Quran. Every house is pure with dhikr. Now, there are more duties to be given to every deserving rich person. It is also important to note that only those who are deserving of receiving charity should be able to receive charity. Zakat is not something that everyone can accept with their hands. Not only that. The person giving the charity should also be especially careful not to go out to show off and show off their charity. Also, remember that the charity given to a deserving person will return to you a thousandfold. Do not accept charity from someone who comes out to give Zakat with wealth that he has accumulated through crooked means.

It generally translates to "giving," "charity," "donation," or "generosity." It encompasses a wide range of voluntary giving, including material possessions, time, service, and even knowledge. Danam is a broad concept and doesn't typically have the same fixed rules and obligatory nature as Zakat in Islam. The act of giving is emphasized as a virtue that brings spiritual merit.The concept of Danam has been present in the teachings of these Indian religions for centuries, predating Islam. Therefore, there isn't a specific time when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned "Danam."Zakat is an Arabic word and is one of the five pillars of Islam.

 * It is a specific, obligatory form of charity in Islam. It literally means "to purify" or "to cleanse," implying that it purifies the wealth of the giver. Zakat involves the donation of a specific portion (usually 2.5%) of a Muslim's surplus wealth to eligible recipients, provided certain conditions (like a minimum threshold known as Nisab and a completion of one lunar year) are met. It is a religious duty and a social welfare mechanism in Islam. The obligation and details of Zakat were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over time in Mecca and Medina after the establishment of the first Muslim community. The precise timing of all the specific rulings varies, but the general principle of obligatory charity was established during his prophethood. Numerous verses in the Quran and Hadith (sayings and traditions of the Prophet) discuss the importance, rules, and benefits of Zakat.In summary, while both "Danam" and "Sakath/Zakat" relate to giving, they come from different religious and linguistic backgrounds and have distinct meanings and levels of obligation. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) spoke about Zakat as an integral part of Islamic practice, not about Danam in the context of Islamic teachings.      **Palayam Nizar Ahmed©                                  copyright© all rights reserved                       Palayam Nizar Ahamed(M.Nizar Ahamed) writer| Journalist |Blogger| Editor-in-Chief |Flash News Bulletindaily|Flash news, investigative reports & editorial writings

For Europeans, these days are a time of joyous celebration.

"Good day, dear friend!!
It's a crisp, beautiful morning in England. To be precise, the city of London is frozen, enveloped in snow. But inside their homes, people are celebrating it as a grand festival. For Europeans, these days are a time of joyous celebration.
In some parts of the world, people endure days of intense heat, while in others, they face extreme cold. Few ponder what winter and spring bring. Snowflakes, flowers, and grass are all treasures that nature has preserved for humanity. Snow is like a gem and a pearl; seeing it is akin to finding a treasure. Snowflakes are rays of God's mercy—cold, white, and pure. The Almighty has given us eyes to witness such beautiful sights in nature, and if they were to disappear, our very beauty would be lost.
Winter is experienced to varying degrees in different parts of the world. This is the time when the most intense cold is felt. The Arctic region in the Northern Hemisphere causes phenomena like snowfall in Western countries. Winter occurs when the sun is farthest from the Earth. Typically, it falls between autumn and spring. Winter is one of the most beautiful seasons in nature. It has been depicted in literature with profound poetic meanings. Trees shed their leaves to welcome winter, and nature transforms into something magnificent.
During my time traveling around England, I experienced all the seasons. None of the ailments that plagued me in Kerala bothered me during my stay in Britain. I was completely healthy. Compared to Kerala's climate, there is no real winter here. There are relatively minor temperature variations in Kerala. However, trees do shed their leaves during Kerala's "winter." Winter usually begins in Kerala towards the end of November, and in December and January, the cold can be intense in some districts.
Human life also experiences various challenging phases. Do you know why? I have seen it! I have experienced it! I have faced them with great care, acting as a protector for my parents and siblings. I have even overcome suicidal thoughts. In some human lives, wealth flows abundantly through dishonest means for unnecessary extravagance. Even inherited wealth is sometimes obtained through betrayal by siblings within families. Do you know why some people struggle throughout their lives? Pay close attention to such matters, and you will understand which human hearts they and their ancestors have trampled upon! They are reaping the consequences of their actions!
Avoid knowingly causing pain to anyone! Deep wounds to the human mind are enough to trigger such karmic repercussions. Dear friend...!
Look... we are very reluctant to admit our faults and shortcomings. We usually blame others, God, or even witchcraft, claiming it's fate. What is fate? What is destiny? We reap what we sow, or we experience the consequences of our ancestors' actions. We are the architects of our own destiny. There is no need to blame or praise anyone else.
Here is a beautiful autumn scene I captured in England. ๐Ÿ’".

เดฌിเดชിMy prayer is that no one should ever suffer from Alzheimer's or dementia.

My prayer is that no one should ever suffer from Alzheimer's or dementia. After the age of 50, a person can develop various illnesses. However, the most distressing disease that causes suffering to those at home is Alzheimer's, or dementia.

One day, my cousin (my uncle's daughter) visited our home with her son, who is a doctor, for a celebration. He is a unit chief at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. He didn't just barely scrape through medical school; he passed with a rank from Thiruvananthapuram Medical College itself and started working there as a doctor many years ago.

A doctor friend, an expert in treating memory disorders (Alzheimer's), taught him a tongue exercise. Apparently, this tongue exercise, which involves stretching the tongue, is effective in the early stages of Alzheimer's. It is also said to be effective in reducing and improving the condition.

Some of the symptoms of the disease include:

 * Weight gain

 * Hypertension

 * Blood clots in the brain

 * Asthma

 * Poor distance vision

 * Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)

 * Throat infections

 * Shoulder and neck infections

 * Insomnia

The tongue exercise is easy for anyone to do. Every morning, while washing your face, perform the exercise in front of a mirror as follows:

 * Extend your tongue and move it left and right 10 times.

Starting daily tongue exercises will definitely improve brain function. The person's mind will become clear, refreshed, and active.

Benefits include:

 * Improved distance vision

 * No dizziness

 * Improved health

 * Improved digestion

 * Reduced fever/colds

You can become stronger and more agile.

The tongue exercise helps control and prevent Alzheimer's. Medical research has found that the tongue is connected to the big brain. As our body ages and weakens, the first symptom that appears is that our tongue becomes stiff and we often bite it ourselves.

Exercise your tongue regularly. It stimulates the brain, helps control and reduce the shrinking of our thoughts, and thus helps achieve a healthy body.

            St.Joseph Boys High School, General                        Hospital Jn Thiruvananthapuram

 After my father's service in the Southern Railway in Madras and the northern districts of Kerala, he was transferred and appointed to a high position at Thampanoor Central Railway Station in his hometown, Thiruvananthapuram. The school and college admissions of his children became a major concern.

        That's how we searched for admissions in the top colleges of the capital city. My sister had very high marks, so she got admission for 'Pre-University' at the famous His Highness Maharaja's Women's College in Vazhuthacaud. Nasir Mama's (film actor Prem Nazir) recommendation also played a part in it. Later, my father searched for my school admission. In those days, there were only two schools in the state where the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rank holders of SSLC would get their photos and interviews published in the front page of newspapers. One was St. Joseph's Boys High School, a boarding school near the General Hospital junction, and the other was Holy Angels Convent Girls High School next to it. I needed admission to high school classes. The school had a competitive written test. The list of successful candidates would be put up on the board. Based on that, the Principal Father would call for an interview. A large amount had to be donated to the building fund, in addition to the fees. At that time, Father Paul Kunnankal, a Jesuit priest, was the school principal. He would only speak English. He knew Malayalam, but he would speak in English even to children who didn't know English at all.

         With a stern face, he always carried a cane. He would enter each class during class hours and punish any mischief he noticed. The school uniform was khaki shorts and a white shirt. If the uniform was not clean, you would surely get beaten. After passing the exam and performing well in the interview, I got admission after my father paid a large donation. The school had classes from 6th to 10th standard. I got admission to 8th standard. During that period, I was the only student with glasses in the school. So, children who didn't know my name were eager to call me 'Kannadi' (glasses). I would report them to the principal. He would ask such students to place their hands on the table and beat them on their calves ten or fifteen times, and then ask them to bring their fathers to the next class. The fathers would get a good scolding during the assembly. He would talk about the importance of teaching children manners, mutual respect, and culture from a young age. Finally, he would ask the father a single question: 'Should I give your son the TC?' That would stop everyone from calling me names. Both the father and the son would learn what manners are.

                    During that time, Father George Muricken, a young teacher who had received his priesthood from Rome, was my class teacher for three years. We used to call him 'Father'. Other teachers who didn't wear cassocks were called 'Sir'. Father Muricken, who was the class teacher, taught us English for three years. He would only speak English in the English class. He had a special skill in explaining difficult English words in simple English. He would always call my name in a special drawn-out tone... NEEEEEEEEZAAAAAAAAR AHAMED. He would take attendance by calling each student's name, not by calling roll numbers. Students had to stand up when their names were called and say 'Present'. Students who delayed this process would get a good beating on their palms. Now, only the class teacher gets beaten, that's the only difference. After school life, I used to see him many times on the road and after church. When I greeted him with 'Good morning, Father', he would respond warmly and with affection. I tell all students that respecting teachers will bring all goodness and progress. Many years later, when he was the principal, I went to see him at school for an admission-related matter.

            He immediately recognized me and called my name in that old drawn-out tone. He immediately fulfilled my request. My cousin, my uncle's daughter, was studying in 7th standard at the nearby Holy Angels Convent. Her younger brother, Abdul Nazer Sain, was also studying in 6th standard at my school. During the school's lunch interval, we two would regularly go to Holy Angels Convent to see her. In those days, we would say that we were going to see our cousin sister. But it was actually to see our sweetheart, our close cousin. As Prem Nazir was a close relative, I was famous as a scholar among the school, teachers, and even distant relatives. I had a good reputation. In literary associations and school anniversaries, my class teacher, Father Muricken, would always put my name first for speeches, essay writing, and singing. I could sing reasonably well. During that time, I sang the song 'Karayunno puzha chirikkunno, kanneerumolippichu kai vazhikal piriyumpol' from the movie 'Murappennu' starring Nasir Mama, and made the whole school silent with sorrow. I received thunderous applause. My classmates who met me later would still remember and talk about it. If I have been able to acquire any skills, it was because of my study period at St. Joseph's School, Thiruvananthapuram.

          That school life was definitely very beautiful. All students had to sing the prayer strictly at the beginning of the class and at the end of the evening. The energy from those prayers helped in studying. I can write that prayer. Tell your children too. You can sing it anywhere:
'Father, we thank thee for the night, and for the pleasant morning light. For rest and food and loving care, and all that makes the day so fair. Help us to do the things we should, to be to others kind and good. In all we do, in work or play, to grow more loving every day.'"

Death can come in many forms

        "To experience your heart stopping, your breath ceasing, to face death directly in your mid-40s, to see and touch the paradise and pomegranate gardens granted to us by the Almighty, to witness the beautiful maidens, like rubies or pearls, prepared for us by the Creator... ๐Ÿ…And then, to return to this world with the pulse of life and memories after 48 hours, thanks to the highly skilled Dr. Dinesh Prabhu, a renowned physician in the capital city... ๐Ÿ…

These are the blessings granted by the compassionate Almighty only to those with goodness in their hearts. ๐Ÿ’‰ It can be described as divine power (khudrath), the result of our deeds, or the fruit of our intense penance. ๐ŸŸ The hands and minds of those providing treatment must be filled with virtue and divine presence at that moment. ๐Ÿ’ƒ Only then will any treatment succeed. ๐Ÿ’‰ Only then can someone be called back from death. ๐Ÿ’‰ Many had spoken of the need to be cautious from the onset of one's mid-40s, the beginning of a transitional phase. ๐Ÿ’‰ I never imagined it would arrive so quickly... ♥ That day was a Saturday. ๐Ÿ’‰ A less busy day at the office. ๐Ÿ’‰That's when many remember me to pass the time. ๐Ÿ’‰ It's the day when university professors, senior secretariat officials, or others come to spend their free time... Saturday. ๐Ÿ’‰ That day, my guest was Venu, the Administrative Officer from the Center for Development Office. ๐Ÿ’‰ His wife is a Senior Manager at Canara Bank's Kollam main branch. ๐Ÿ’‰ Venu had dropped his wife and daughter off at the train station and came to my office to chat for a while. ๐Ÿ’‰ Occasionally, we would both go to the roadside tea stalls near the Secretariat and Cantonment Police Station for tea. ๐Ÿ’‰ Those stalls are always crowded with people having their 11 am tea. ๐Ÿ’‰ It's a gathering place for many government employees and police officers I know. ๐Ÿ’‰

Despite the crowd, the stall owners know me well. ๐Ÿ’‰ Even in the midst of the rush, tea arrives promptly for me and my companion. ๐Ÿ’‰ This surprises my companion and the other officers present. ๐Ÿƒ Everyone greets me. ๐Ÿƒ It was a matter of pride to experience that. ๐Ÿƒ Everyone was a high-ranking official. ๐ŸงŽ After tea and snacks, we returned to the office and talked for a long time about various things. ๐Ÿ’‰ Venu believes in numerology. ๐Ÿ’‰ We spent about two hours in the office. ๐Ÿ’‰ As he was about to leave, Venu said he was studying the unlucky number 13... ๐Ÿ’‰ He suddenly asked me... ๐Ÿ’‰                                                            'What's Nizar's date of birth?' ๐Ÿ’‰

'April 26th...' ๐Ÿ’‰

I asked him, 'And yours?' ๐Ÿ’‰

Asking me to extend my hand, Venu wrote 'April 26th' on my palm with a dot pen. ๐Ÿ’‰ He was two years older than me. ๐Ÿ’‰ Venu shared how his daughter passed engineering with distinction from CET Kulathoor and got a high-paying job at Infosys through campus selection. He then took his leave. ๐Ÿ’‰The next day, the landline at home rang incessantly in the morning... I rushed to answer it. ๐Ÿ’‰ It was a staff member from my office calling. ๐Ÿ’‰

'Sir, Venu sir who comes to our office, he dropped his wife at the railway station and on his way back, he had an accident in front of Women's College, Vazhuthacaud, when a KSRTC bus hit his bike. ๐Ÿ’‰ The bus ran over his head. ๐Ÿ’‰ He passed away.' ๐Ÿ˜ข My heart sank. ๐Ÿ’‰ After my 15-day stay in the ICU at the hospital, when I returned home stronger than before, the first news I received was the death of my friend, who had rushed to my house with an appointment for a renowned and busy cardiologist in Kerala. ............ ♥️
Venu left before me. ๐Ÿ’‰ Fate is like this sometimes. ๐Ÿ’‰ The Almighty sends his call early even to those who wouldn't hurt an ant. ๐Ÿ’‰ God loves those who live with great goodness. ♥️"

๐ŸฉธMy prayers are that no one gets sick in this world๐Ÿฉธ

"A while ago, around 2 a.m., my friend's father felt a heaviness in his chest, his whole body sweated, he experienced muscle tightness from his neck up to his ears, and he had difficulty breathing. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where an ECG was performed.

Due to two variations in the ECG results, it was recommended that the patient be immediately transferred to a hospital with ICU facilities. So, he was quickly taken to a well-known private hospital. He was immediately admitted to the casualty. After two hours, they asked for 13,500 rupees as an emergency charge. The money was quickly collected and paid at the counter. Those who accompanied him waited outside. They said the patient was being moved to the ICU, which would cost 8,000 rupees per day, and further details would be provided after the doctor's visit. Shortly after, the doctor arrived and said an angiogram was necessary, which would cost 9,000 rupees. They also mentioned the possibility of a blockage, and if that were the case, an angioplasty would be done immediately, costing 150,000 rupees per blockage. It was then that his younger brother noticed the test report, which showed creatinine levels above 18, far exceeding the normal range. He recalled his wife's father having an angioplasty when his creatinine was high, which led to increased breathing difficulties and death. The hospital authorities dismissed this concern. While they were trying to figure out how to arrange 150,000 rupees, prioritizing his father's life, they remembered a recent incident where a friend's mother had a similar issue and underwent angioplasty at the district hospital. Upon calling that friend, he advised them to immediately go to the district hospital. Meanwhile, the staff at the five-star hospital repeatedly contacted them, offering to reduce the cost of the operation from 150,000 to 125,000, and finally to 100,000 rupees if money was the issue. However, they remained firm on discharging the patient. In the meantime, the brother asked the district panchayat member to check if there was an ICU bed available at the district hospital. Upon checking, they confirmed an availability. By then, the bill had reached 10,000 rupees. He was admitted at 3 a.m., and by 3 p.m. the bill was nearly 24,000 rupees. The ICU ambulance from that hospital charged an additional 2,000 rupees for a two-kilometer transfer to the district hospital.

At the general hospital, the cardiac department doctor examined the father. Upon seeing the test results, the doctor immediately noted the high creatinine levels. He explained that performing an angiogram in that condition would worsen breathing difficulties. He prescribed medication for a day and said they would retest the blood the next morning, and if the creatinine levels decreased, they would proceed with the angiogram. They also assisted in obtaining an insurance card for the father, who didn't have one. The next day, the blood test showed no reduction in creatinine levels, so they prescribed medication for two weeks. They were advised to return for a blood test after two weeks of medication, and they were discharged the following day. While the private hospital doctor insisted on immediate angioplasty for 150,000 rupees, the district hospital doctor suggested a two-week wait. After two weeks, the father was admitted to the general hospital, where ECG, TMT, echo test, and blood tests were performed. With the creatinine levels reduced, the father underwent an angiogram the next day, which revealed no blockage, only a muscle issue requiring medication. He was discharged and returned home the same day.

The treatment that would have cost 150,000 rupees at the super-specialty hospital was done at the district general hospital at no cost. The treatment was excellent, and the patient and their attendant received lunch from the DYFI and evening chapatis and curry from the League. When they tried to offer a gift to the district doctor as a token of gratitude, he politely declined, stating that the government already paid his salary. The father is now doing well. It is hoped that this will be shared widely to benefit others. Be aware of the 'practices' in the healthcare sector."
